Gorna Arda is part of the Trans Rhodope Eco route: Hvoina village, Bulgaria – Stavroupoli, Greece. The tourist route is over 100 km long and connects the natural attractions on both sides of the border with Greece. In Greece, the Eco route comprises Drama – Paranesty region. There you can see the highest Rhodope Livadidis waterfalls, St. Varvara and Lepidas.

The road from Gorna Arda village to the border with Greece is to be built. From the border to Paranesti on the future road is 20 km, and from there the route leads to Kavala and the northern coast of Greece.
